6 Steps To Do Your Best

  1. Everyone meet near the location (do not go in yet) and choose who is paired with who and what equipment should each person use.  Don't load any film, tape, batteries etc yet.

  2. Enter the site and find a space where you can do an opening prayer.  Form a protective circle and hold hands.  If you intertwine your fingers you will get a better positive energy flow.   What can this hurt? It's better than making a ghost mad.

  3. After the prayer, walk around for about 10 minutes and let the spirits get comfortable with you  and you with the environment.  Log in the time you get there and who is using what equipment.  For interesting results, set up a stationary video camera and/or tape recorder.  This can also be the meeting spot if something goes wrong or someone gets hurt.

  4. Load your camera with film, batteries and all that jazz.  Now it's time to hunt.  Take lots of pictures and record everything.  If you sense something around you, there probably is something.  Record that feeling and take a picture.  Who knows what might turn out.

  5. Talk to the spirits.  Talk normal.  What ever you do, don't whisper.  Whispering is bad because it can be mistaken as an EVP.  Ask questions, Example: "Who all is here?"  "How did you die?" "Who laid these flowers?"  Questions like that.  You'll be surprised when you listen to the EVPs.

  6. When you are finished investigating have everyone meet at the meeting point and form the protective circle once again.  Now you are going to say the closing prayer.  Once again, you don't want anything following you home.

  7. For the best results in listening to EVP, do it the next day, after you wake up and had some coffee and breakfast.  You don't want to listen afterwards (even if you are just dying to hear what's on the tape) because you'll be tired and all worked up about the investigation.  It's better to have a fresh start.
